VISION

We see SGIS as an institution of learning, providing the needs of its individual members in a family-like atmosphere through a well-balanced academic curriculum in a cross-cultural context, and preparing them for their roles in a dynamic and changing global community.

OBJECTIVES

SGIS will pursue its vision by the following objectives:

• Promoting interdisciplinary courses of studies by conscientiously integrating the cognitive, manipulative and affective domains of the teaching-learning process, reinforced by a flexible delivery system while addressing the development of values and attitude

• Establishing programs and linkages with other agencies in implementing the K-12 Basic Education Program

• Organizing co-curricular programs whereby all students participate actively in sports and other events to acquire interpersonal skills and leadership capabilities

• Promoting career awareness and providing actual experiences towards self-reliance and entrepreneurial endeavor

• Ensuring a friendly atmosphere in the school to hasten their adjustment process especially for the transferees and transient students

• Sponsoring a cross-cultural study tour program with the foreign students of Manila-Xiamen International School in China while exposing the students to the Mandarin Language
